To help Anlong Khong with its flooding problem, we are working with 10 villagers to create waterways and other measure to prevent water from flowing into the village. The first phase, finishing the waterways in the village, is ready. As is phase 2; repairing the dike around the village, which was damaged after the severe flooding last year. Now phase 3 starts; making a waterlock to get rid of large amounts of water in case of flooding. After that, new waterways will be made (phase 4). Anlong Khong is almost waterproof!
